Our Award-Winning Deluxe Wine Tour to Tamborine Mountain offers a vast variety of quality wine from boutique wineries, as well as a liqueur/spirit tasting from Tamborine Mountain Distillery (with over 80 different flavours to choose from!). Enjoy a delicious two course lunch, local cheese platter, along with snacks and water on the bus.
During your wine tour, we’ll stop at some of the best lookouts in Tamborine Mountain, where you can soak up uninterrupted panoramic views of the Gold Coast Hinterlands and the Scenic Rim range.

Duration: Roughly 9:00am-4:45pm (4 venues) / 9:45am - 4:30pm (3 venues)

TRANSPORT:
Our tour bus accommodates up to 11 passengers. For larger groups, please get in touch with us to discuss options (we can arrange larger buses & charters on demand)

MIN NUMBERS:
We require a minimum of 8 passenegers to run a private wine tasting tour. If you have less than 8 passengers - a private tour fee will be added.

* PICK UP / DROP OFF:
TMTE can provide a pick up service to your doorstep in Springfield! If it’s easier for your group to meet somewhere central (ie: Orion Shopping Centre), this can also be arranged. We have a maximum of 2 pick up locations per group.

What happens to our booking if Covid-19 restrictions take place?
In the unfortunate circumstance where your tour is unable to go ahead due to enforced restrictions from the Federal Government, a full credit will be held for when you wish to re-book your tour. Or alternatively, we can issue a refund (less your deposit / service fee).

How many people does your tour bus fit? 
Our regular tour bus sits up to 11 people….

What if I have more than 11 wine-loving friends?
A 25 seater bus can also be arranged for larger groups. Please note: a surcharge of $200 will be applied for groups between 12-15 to cover bus hire costs for the day. If your group is of 16+ people, there will be no extra costs involved. If you have a function or event with over 30 people, please email info@tashmareetravel.com to discuss bus options, as larger charter buses can also be arranged.

Can I bring my own booze on the bus? 
There is strictly no drinking alcohol on the tour bus. By law - we cannot allow this. All of our wineries are within a few minutes of each other - we promise to not keep you without a wine in your hand for too long… Coffee & non-alcoholic drinks are allowed on the tour bus.

Can I play my own music on the tour bus?
OF COURSE! We love to play your tunes! Our smaller bus has aux, bluetooth & USB options. If you are booking a larger bus (24 seater), we recommend bringing a bluetooth speak along for the ride, as the larger buses don’t always have bluetooth connection.

Is there a dress-code? 
We're a casual bunch here in Queensland, so dress comfortable. It can be a few degrees cooler in the Hinterlands, so a jacket wouldn't go astray in the cooler months (July / August). For the rest of the year, our weather is warm and sunny, we recommend to bring along a hat if your skin does not cope well under our Australian Sun. 

Do you cater for people with dietary requirements? 
Absolutely! Please let us know of any food allergies or dietary requirements prior to your wine tour and we will be able to arrange a delicious lunch alternative for you. 

Can I book now and pay later? 
To secure a date for your group booking, a non-refundable $200 deposit is required. For large tour groups, total tour costs are to be paid in one lump sum by the organiser no later than 21 days prior to your tour date (exceptions made for last minute bookings). Cancellation fees apply. 

Is there a minimum group number to run a wine tour?

Of course! Talk to us about your desired time frame and budget and we’ll send through some options to perfectly suit your group.

How far is Tamborine Mountain from Brisbane & the Gold Coast?
Tamborine Mountain is located in the South East hinterlands, roughly 50mins - 1.25 hours from Springfield - depending on where you are based.

Can we make a coffee stop on the way?
Our venues are often running at full capacity and our bookings are very time sensitive. If you would like to enjoy a nice breakfast & coffee - please do this prior to your tour (well before your pick up time), as we would hate for you to miss out on any wine tastings because we’re late to our scheduled tasting slot. You’re most welcome to bring your takeaway coffee on board the bus, however we kindly ask that you take your rubbish with you.
