Want the whole bus to yourselves? No worries! We can offer private tours for groups of 8 people or more. This tour is perfect for birthday celebrations, Hens/Bucks parties, corporate outings, social groups & special occasions.

How many people can fit in the bus?
We have two bus sizes available: our 11 passenger seat bus OR a 21 passenger seat bus for larger group bookings. If you have more than 21 people in your group - chat to us about transport options (we can accomodate groups of any size - for groups over 42 people, we would arrange a charter bus). *subject to availability

Can we create a customised itinerary?
Absolutely! Let us know a bit about your event & what you’d like included in your tour (mostly wine? mostly beer? an activity? a half day tour?) - once we have the details, we’ll be sure to get back to you with a suggested itinerary to suit! For groups between 8-14 people: we can accomodate you on our 4 venue tour. Head over to our Deluxe Winery Tour to Tamborine Mountain for more details.

For larger groups of 12 people or more: we recommend booking a 3 venue tour to ensure your group isn’t being rushed on and off the bus (this allows time for a delicious cocktail or two over lunch!). Don’t worry - we’ll make sure we still include ample amounts of boozy samples throughout the day, a delicious two course lunch, lawn games, local cheese & scenic views…

For groups of 30 or more: we recommend booking a 2 venue tour to give your group time to mingle and enjoy the day!

Price: from $189 per person*
Duration: Roughly 9:00am - 4:30pm (Brisbane or Springfield pick up) / 10:00am - 3:30pm (Tamborine Mountain pick up)

Our budget-friendly tour offers an afternoon filled with breathtaking views, delectable wine, and the freedom to customise your itinerary. You can choose any two tasting venues on Mt Tamborine to suit your group's preferences. The tour starts around midday, so you can even enjoy a leisurely brunch with your friends before it begins. If you feel a little peckish during the day, worry not, as there are plenty of food options available for purchase. You can indulge in cheeseboards, food trucks, or plenty of food options along Gallery Walk. Below is the list of the available tasting venues, from which you can choose two or three venues:

PICK UP / DROP OFF SERVICE

We can provide a free pick up and drop off service to your home or holiday accomodation at Tamborine Mountain, Central Brisbane, Springfield or Northern GC. Please check your pick up location with one of our friendly staff to check if your suburb is eligible. We have a maximum of 2 pick up locations per group.
A pick up fee may apply if your location is outside the free pick up zone.

How many people does your tour bus fit?
Our regular tour bus sits up to 11 people….

What if I have more than 11 wine-loving friends?
A 25 seater bus can also be arranged for larger groups. Please note: a surcharge of $200 will be applied for groups between 12-15 to cover bus hire costs for the day. If your group is of 16+ people, there will be no extra costs involved. If you have a function or event with over 30 people, please email info@tashmareetravel.com to discuss bus options, as larger charter buses can also be arranged.

Can I bring my own booze on the bus?
There is strictly no drinking alcohol on the tour bus. By law - we cannot allow this. All of our wineries are within a few minutes of each other - we promise to not keep you without a wine in your hand for too long… Coffee & non-alcoholic drinks are allowed on the tour bus.

Can I play my own music on the tour bus?
OF COURSE! We love to play your tunes! Our smaller bus has aux, bluetooth & USB options. If you are booking a larger bus (24 seater), we recommend bringing a bluetooth speak along for the ride, as the larger buses don’t always have bluetooth connection.

Is there a dress-code?
We're a casual bunch here in Queensland, so dress comfortable. It can be a few degrees cooler in the Hinterlands, so a jacket wouldn't go astray in the cooler months (July / August). For the rest of the year, our weather is warm and sunny, we recommend to bring along a hat if your skin does not cope well under our Australian Sun.

Do you cater for people with dietary requirements?
Absolutely! Please let us know of any food allergies or dietary requirements prior to your wine tour and we will be able to arrange a delicious lunch alternative for you.

Can I book now and pay later?
To secure a date for your group booking, a non-refundable $200 deposit is required. For large tour groups, total tour costs are to be paid in one lump sum by the organiser no later than 14 days prior to your tour date (exceptions made for last minute bookings). Cancellation fees apply.

Is there a minimum group number to run a wine tour?
We have a minimum of 5 people to run a tour, if you are a solo traveler, we will book you onto an existing wine tour to make up minimum numbers. If minimum numbers are not met, we will endeavour to book you onto an alternate tour. If we are unsuccessful in finding a replacement wine tour on your requested date, your tour will be cancelled and your payment will be refunded in full.

Can I book a customised tour?
Of course! Talk to us about your desired time frame and budget and we’ll send through some options to perfectly suit your group. We require a minimum of 8 people to run a private tour.

Can we book a private winery tour?
You most certainly can! We offer private wine tours for groups of 8 people or more. If your group is less than 8 people, a private wine tour fee will be charged (this amount will depend on your final group numbers).

How far is Tamborine Mountain from Brisbane & the Gold Coast?
Tamborine Mountain is located in the South East hinterlands, roughly 45mins - 1.5 hours from Brisbane City & the Gold Coast (depending on where you are located)

Can I bring snacks on the bus?
Your tour guide will have some packets of chips & bottled water on the bus, however if you wish to bring more snacks on board - you are most welcome to.

Can we make a coffee stop on the way?
Our venues are often running at full capacity and our bookings are very time sensitive. If you would like to enjoy a nice breakfast & coffee - please do this prior to your tour (well before your pick up time), as we would hate for you to miss out on any wine tastings because we’re late to our scheduled tasting slot. You’re most welcome to bring your take away coffee on board the bus, however we kindly ask that you take your rubbish with you.
