Our Award-Winning Deluxe Wine Tour to Tamborine Mountain offers a vast variety of quality wine from boutique wineries, as well as a liqueur/spirit tasting from Tamborine Mountain Distillery (with over 80 different flavours to choose from!).
Enjoy a delicious two course lunch, snacks and water on the bus & opportunities to buy delicious local produce throughout the day. During your wine tour, we’ll stop at some of the best lookouts in Tamborine Mountain, where you can soak up uninterrupted panoramic views of the Gold Coast Hinterlands and the Scenic Rim range.

TRANSPORT:
Our public tours accomodate 11 passengers. For private group tours, we have an 11 seater or 21 seater bus available to book. For group tours of 12 or more people - please visit our Private Tours page for more details (and prices).

* PICK UP / DROP OFF:
For Public Tours: We have multiple pick up zones located around Brisbane CBD, Mt Tamborine & suburbs along the way. Let us know where you are located to find out where the closest meeting point will be.

For Private Tours: We can provide a pick up service to your doorstep in Brisbane, Springfield, Northern GC or Tamborine Mountain. Some pick up restrictions apply - please send us an email to check if your home / holiday accomodation is eligible for free pickup.

PUBLIC & PRIVATE TOURS AVAILABLE:
We offer both public & private group tours for our Deluxe Winery Tour to Tamborine Mountain.

If you’re booking onto our 4 venue public tour, you’ll likely visit Witches Falls, Hampton Estate, Mason Wines & Tamborine Distillery. We require a minimum of 5 passengers to operate this tour.

To book a private tour, we require a minimum of 8 people on board and itineraries can be customised if you wish.
(If you have less than 8 pax & would still like a private tour, a private tour fee will be charged).

How many people does your tour bus fit? 
Our regular tour bus sits up to 11 people….

What if I have more than 11 wine-loving friends?
A 25 seater bus can also be arranged for larger groups. Please note: a surcharge of $200 will be applied for groups between 12-15 to cover bus hire costs for the day. If your group is of 16+ people, there will be no extra costs involved. If you have a function or event with over 30 people, please email info@tashmareetravel.com to discuss bus options, as larger charter buses can also be arranged.

Can I bring my own booze on the bus? 
There is strictly no drinking alcohol on the tour bus. By law - we cannot allow this. All of our wineries are within a few minutes of each other - we promise to not keep you without a wine in your hand for too long… Coffee & non-alcoholic drinks are allowed on the tour bus.

Can I play my own music on the tour bus?
OF COURSE! We love to play your tunes! Our smaller bus has aux, bluetooth & USB options. If you are booking a larger bus (24 seater), we recommend bringing a bluetooth speak along for the ride, as the larger buses don’t always have bluetooth connection.

Is there a dress-code? 
We're a casual bunch here in Queensland, so dress comfortable. It can be a few degrees cooler in the Hinterlands, so a jacket wouldn't go astray in the cooler months (July / August). For the rest of the year, our weather is warm and sunny, we recommend to bring along a hat if your skin does not cope well under our Australian Sun. 

Do you cater for people with dietary requirements? 
Absolutely! Please let us know of any food allergies or dietary requirements prior to your wine tour and we will be able to arrange a delicious lunch alternative for you. 

Do your venues have wheelchair access?
All of the venues we visit have wheelchair access. Unfortunately our 12 seater bus does not have a wheelchair ramp or lift, however if you have limited mobility and are able to get on the bus, we can most certainly find a safe place on the bus for your wheelchair.

Can I book now and pay later? 
To secure a date for your group booking, a non-refundable $200 deposit is required. For large tour groups, total tour costs are to be paid in one lump sum by the organiser no later than 14 days prior to your tour date (exceptions made for last minute bookings). Cancellation fees apply. 

Is there a minimum group number to run a wine tour? 
We have a minimum of 5 people to run a tour, if you are a solo traveler, we will book you onto an existing wine tour to make up minimum numbers. If minimum numbers are not met, we will endeavour to book you onto an alternate tour. If we are unsuccessful in finding a replacement wine tour on your requested date, your tour will be cancelled and your payment will be refunded in full. 

Can I book a customised tour?
Of course! Talk to us about your desired time frame and budget and we’ll send through some options to perfectly suit your group. We require a minimum of 8 people to run a private tour.

Can we book a private winery tour?
You most certainly can! We offer private wine tours for groups of 8 people or more. If your group is less than 8 people, a private wine tour fee will be charged (this amount will depend on your final group numbers).

How far is Tamborine Mountain from Brisbane & the Gold Coast?
Tamborine Mountain is located in the South East hinterlands, roughly 45mins - 1.5 hours from Brisbane City & the Gold Coast (depending on where you are located)

Can we make a coffee stop on the way?
Our venues are often running at full capacity and our bookings are very time sensitive. If you would like to enjoy a nice breakfast & coffee - please do this prior to your tour (well before your pick up time), as we would hate for you to miss out on any wine tastings because we’re late to our scheduled tasting slot. You’re most welcome to bring your takeaway coffee on board the bus, however we kindly ask that you take your rubbish with you.
